Dns Tools

Dns Tools Details
The DNS (Domain Name System) is one of the most important systems on the Internet. Its main function is to translate between domain names and IP addresses and to list the MTA (mail transfer agent) accepting e-mail for each domain. Think of it like the white pages for the Internet. The DNS is a hierarchical database that manages the Internet namespace, distributed over thousands of servers worldwide. This namespace is divided into zones, of which each is under the responsibility of independent administrators. For additional details on DNS look at the BIND documentation Below is a list of many free DNS diagnostic tools and network diagnostic tools we use. We maintain this list frequently and are always adding to it. If you have any suggestions for additional free DNS Diagnostic tools of network diagnostic tools to be added to this list, please leave a comment on this
